Back in April I was lucky enough to win a Phat Fiber Giveaway of some beautiful MadAngel Creations Art Yarn. I was so excited to have won but even more excited to have this beautiful piece of art. This is my first experience with noncorporate yarn and I absolutely love it. It came with a beautiful stitch marker that matches the yarn. I am hoping to make something for myself with this. Many thanks to Paula Warner for gracing the world with her beautiful creations. As soon as DH lifts the extra spending ban I plan on buying more of her stuff.
For Mother's Day the ban on buying was temporarily lifted and I was able to get myself a lovely hank of Teresa Levite Studio Yarn Artwork. She was featured on Phat Fiber as well and I just couldn't resist. It is aptly named Crushed Candy and I love it. I was planning on making something for myself seeing as it was a Mother's Day present but I am currently making a summer dress for my DD. It is so awesome to work with. The softest I have ever felt in my hands.In closing for this short entry, I would like to mention the current giveaway going on right now at Phat Fiber .
